Radiant Images, soon to be a division of Hawkeye Systems, has received the prestigious Lumiere Award from the Advanced Imaging Society. Previous Lumiere winners include tech giants and creative leaders, such as: Martin Scorsese, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Walt Disney Studios, Apple, IBM, Microsoft, Sony Pictures, Dreamworks, Samsung, and NVIDIA. Radiant won the Lumiere based upon its AXA Volumetric and Light Field stages. Designed by Kurt (Weijan) Lin, the AXA system is based on Radiants’ core philosophy and principle of camera & software agnostic systems that transcend technology cycles. Radiants’ AXA Stage and the newly developed Nebula are modular in design, highly transportable and cost effective; which can support both Volumetric & Light Field. Radiant is proud to announce that it has integrated its AXA Stages inside one of Hollywood’s oldest and largest Motion Picture Studios for their development of the next phase of storytelling.
